The RIPE NCC LIR Portal
Every RIPE NCC member has an LIR Portal account.
The LIR Portal provides increased access to the RIPE NCC for members via a web interface. In addition to managing registry data and making queries and updates without contacting the RIPE NCC staff, the LIR Portal also allows you to request resources from the RIPE NCC.
The LIR Portal is the LIR’s main communication interface with the RIPE NCC.
New LIRs
During the membership application process, each LIR nominates one RIPE NCC Access account to receive admin privileges for the LIR Portal. This account holder is then able to assign further privileges, including admin privileges, to other RIPE NCC Access accounts.
You can create a RIPE NCC Access account here: https://access.ripe.net/registration
If you need any help creating a new account please contact ncc@ripe.net.
Existing LIRs
Any RIPE NCC Access account which has admin privileges for an LIR may assign further privileges, including admin privileges, to other RIPE NCC Access accounts for that LIR.
To nominate a different RIPE NCC Access account to receive admin privileges if the original account details have been lost, please send a signed statement on company letter-headed paper, including:
- confirmation that you are authorised to request access to the LIR Portal for "<your RegID>" and "<your legal organisation name>"; and
- the email address of an activated RIPE NCC Access account to which we should assign admin privileges.
The statement must be signed by a person authorised to sign on behalf of the organisation.
You can send a scanned PDF copy of the statement to ncc@ripe.net.
You must also include a recent copy of your organisation's official trade register documents to prove that your organisation is a registered legal entity authorised to carry out business activities in your country. Your local Chamber of Commerce is usually the one to issue these.
